Mango Fruit Spread
or US
Mango Conserve Spread
1 cup slivered almonds
6 - 8 plump, fresh apricots, peaches or nectarines
Preheat oven at 350ºF (180ºC). Bake pastry just until crisp and remove from oven. Spread bottom thickly with jam. Sprinkle with almonds and add fruit halves. Serve warm or cold.
