Cherry Glazed Spare Ribs

2 pounds pork ribs
½ cup MORELLO CHERRY PREMIUM SPREAD or MORELLO CHERRY CONSERVE
6 tbsp vegetable oil
3 tbsp balsamic vinegar
1 tbsp worcestershire sauce
1 ½ tsp thyme
1 ½ tsp minced garlic
2 tsp toasted sesame seeds
salt and pepper to taste


Preheat oven to 300°F. Season ibs on both sides with salt, pepper and 1 tsp of thyme. Place ribs, flesh side down , in a roasting pan and cook for 30 minutes. Turn and continue cooking for 1½ hours, turning once more during this time.
While the ribs are cooking, whisk together cherry conserves, oil, vinegar, worcestershire sauce and garlic. Spoon over ribs and continue cooking, flesh side up, until ribs are tender, about 20 to 25 minutes more. Make sure the cherry mixture doesn't burn. Take out of oven, let stand at least 5 minutes, sprinkle on sesame seeds and serve.
